WELCOME TO FRISCO SCOUT FOUNDATION
The Frisco Scout Foundation is dedicated to chartering scouting organizations in the Frisco, TX area. The units within the foundation are for the development of youth to prepare them to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetime by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law
Units we support:
TROOP 13
For young men between the ages of 11 and 18, Troop 13 is the example of what a BSA Scout troop should look like. Created in October 2020, this unit has already established a reputation for service, citizenship and adventure.
Pack 13
Pack 13 is a Cub Scout pack in Frisco, TX that started in January 2020. We are charted by the Frisco Scout Foundation and meet at Preston Ridge Church. Pack 13 is committed to providing a quality Scouting program in the Iron Horse District.
Crew 2
Venturing offers coed groups ages 14-20 the opportunity to experience high adventures and are run entirely by participating youth.
THE UNITS ARE ALSO SUPPORTED BY THE LOCAL BOY SCOUT DISTRICT AND COUNCIL. FIND MORE INFORMATION BELOW.
ABOUT US
The Frisco Scout Foundation is organized to promote and charter Boy Scouts of America units to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
ESTABLISHED IN 2019
Formation papers were drafted in November 2019 after seeing boys being delayed in the Eagle application process. The primary impetus was working towards creating units that would be free from the financial and legal struggles being seen in Scouting.
OUR GOAL
Developing much smaller and nimble units is the primary goal of the foundation. Working with local churches, schools and business to allow places to meet is one of the central functions the chartering organization can serve.
